This advanced modification kit has been specifically developed to modify the unlocking mechanism of both the soft top and the hard top of the Mercedes R107. After many years, the outer cable starts to slip into the unlocking mechanism. As a result, unlocking becomes increasingly difficult, or eventually the convertible roof and hardtop can no longer be opened at all.

With this conversion kit, the entire release mechanism can be modified, ensuring that the soft and hard tops function smoothly, lightly, and reliably again. The kit was developed as a durable solution for a common problem with the Mercedes R107.

Replacement prevents future malfunctions and ensures reliable operation of the release mechanism.
