Assembly instructions

1. Disconnect the electrical connection.
2. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the old plug.
3. Place the new plug in the correct position.
4. Press the plug into the housing with two fingers until it clicks into place audibly. Then tighten the mounting bolt to a torque of 2.5 Nm.
5. Reconnect the electrical connection.

Important

• After installation, check that the plug is correctly locked and that there are no leaks or error messages.
• Carefully clean the area around the transmission before disassembly and reassembly to prevent contamination of the gearbox.
• The installation of the guide plate must be carried out in accordance with the transmission manufacturer's instructions.
• For the correct operation of the automatic transmission, precise mounting and positioning of the guide plate is necessary.
• After installation, it is recommended to read out the transmission and check or clear any fault codes.
• Work on the automatic gearbox should preferably be carried out by qualified personnel with knowledge of Mercedes automatic transmissions.
• Incorrect installation can lead to shifting problems, limp mode, or transmission control fault messages.
