Deze hoogwaardige koelvloeistofpomp zorgt voor een betrouwbare circulatie van de koelvloeistof en houdt de motor op de juiste bedrijfstemperatuur. Een goed werkende koelvloeistofpomp voorkomt oververhitting van de motor en draagt bij aan een lange levensduur van de motor en het complete koelsysteem.

Deze koelvloeistofpomp wordt compleet geleverd inclusief papieren pakking. De pomp is uitgevoerd met een 3-gaats flens en heeft een flens-naafmaat van circa 92 mm.

Deze koelvloeistofpomp vervangt onder andere de Mercedes OEM-nummers 115 200 01 20 and 127 200 01 20.

1. The coolant pump ensures constant circulation of the coolant and prevents the engine from overheating.
2. A worn water pump can cause leakage, bearing play, or reduced cooling capacity.
3. Always check the version of the old water pump, the flange, the dimensions, and the number of mounting holes before ordering.

Advice for optimal protection of the cooling system

For a long lifespan of the radiator, water pump, and other components of the cooling system, we always recommend using the correct coolant.

For classic Mercedes models, this is usually a blue-green, silicate-based coolant that offers protection against corrosion, limescale, and internal degradation of the cooling system.

In addition, waterless coolant is an excellent alternative. It prevents internal corrosion, reduces the risk of boiling problems, and offers extra protection for classic engines.

Installation manual coolant pump water pump

1. Never carry out repair work while the engine is running.
2. Preparation

Allow the cooling system to cool down completely and drain all coolant until the system is completely empty. Next, remove the water pump and carefully clean all sealing and mating surfaces. Remove all residues of old gaskets and sealants. We also recommend cleaning and flushing the entire cooling system. Check all components of the cooling system and replace them if necessary.

Waarschuwing: Gebruik afgetapte koelvloeistof nooit opnieuw. Koelvloeistof is gevaarlijk afval en moet volgens de geldende voorschriften worden afgevoerd.

3. Installation of the new water pump

Always install the new water pump with a new gasket. Tighten the mounting bolts to the torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer and check that the pump can rotate freely.

Waarschuwing: Wanneer een siliconenpakking of siliconen afdichtmiddel wordt gebruikt, moet de voorgeschreven uithardingstijd volledig worden aangehouden voordat het koelsysteem met koelvloeistof wordt gevuld. Gebruik nooit teveel.

4. Fan check

Check the fan for damage and replace it if necessary. For vehicles with a fan clutch, its correct operation must also be checked.

Waarschuwing: Een defecte ventilatorkoppeling kan leiden tot vroegtijdige uitval van de nieuwe waterpomp.

5. Checking the drive belt

Check the drive belt(s) for wear, deformation, and hardening. Replace worn belts, and we recommend always installing a new drive belt when replacing the water pump. Adjust the belt tension according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications to prevent damage to the bearings of the driven components.

6. Hose inspection

Check that all cooling hoses and hose clamps are in good condition and correctly installed.

7. Filling the cooling system

Fill the cooling system with new coolant.

Waarschuwing: Gebruik uitsluitend koelvloeistof die door de voertuigfabrikant is voorgeschreven of goedgekeurd.

8. Vent

Bleed the cooling system according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.

Waarschuwing: Tijdens het ontluchten kan een lichte lekkage bij de ontluchtingsopening optreden.

9. Final inspection

Laat de motor proefdraaien en controleer het complete koelsysteem op lekkages. Controleer tevens of alle koelslangen en slangklemmen correct zijn gemonteerd. Laat de motor vervolgens afkoelen en controleer daarna opnieuw het koelvloeistofniveau. Pers het koelsysteem af om te kijken of er geen lekkages zijn.
